Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a holistic natural healing system and is considered the oldest health system in the world. It teaches how to maintain health, vitality, and joy in life into old age. Ayurveda is viewed not strictly as medicine but as a holistic lifestyle from which both healthy and ill individuals can benefit.

The goal of each treatment is to balance the doshas and thereby restore the harmony of body, mind, and spirit.

In Ayurveda, “being healthy” means being in inner balance with one’s own constitution. Diseases arise from an imbalance of physical and mental forces. Depending on our constitution, we may prefer different lifestyles, climatic conditions, or mental challenges. When these three fundamental energies are in individual balance, it is the best foundation for health and happiness: we feel well, are healthy, and radiate natural beauty.
